A poetic installation in the Vogeleiland Park Deventer

In Your Footsteps" is a poetic artwork by Annick Sickinghe. The work invites connection and reflection, featuring silhouettes of local heroes dedicated to society. Encouraging visitors not only to share the physical park but also each other's perspectives, stories, and experiences.Step through the silhouettes of four Deventer residents who have done something remarkable for the city and see the world from the perspective of others. They are Emmy Strik, the creator of the Dickens Festival; Nuran Florissen, winner of the National Volunteer Award; Emma Oosterwegel, a top athlete; and Sammai Siahaya, organizer of the Night Parliament.
